HANDS-ON SEMINARS TO AWARD
OVER $100,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS
TO PROMOTE MANUAL PHYSICAL THERAPY
In an effort to increase further awareness about Manual Physical Therapy, Hands-On Seminars will award $100,000 in scholarship funds to Physical Therapists who want to learn more about Manual Therapy.
In a recent Press Release Hands-On Seminars' co-founder Konstantine Rizopoulos noted that"Prescription drugs and invasive procedures such as surgery are linked to many complications, poor outcomes and even death. Research shows that Manual Physical Therapy offers the most cost effective treatment of pain and other musculoskeletal problems".
"The research points to manual physical therapy as a key answer to the problem" said Dr. Dimitrios Kostopoulos co-founder of Hands-On Seminars. "We are taking this initiative because we want to give the o pportunity to Physical Therapists to expand their knowledge and expertise in manual therapy and this way they can make an even greater difference in the lives of their patients" continued Dr. Kostopoulos.
Since this is an effort to spread the word about the benefits of Manual Physical Therapy, Hands-On Seminars encourages the scholarship recipients to utilize social and traditional media to describe the benefits of Manual Physical Therapy upon completion of any of the programs.
Some of the activities can be:
- An article in a newspaper
- A letter to the editor of a newspaper
- A blog posting
- A Tweeter message
- A Facebook wall posting
