Details:
Participants will be taught integrated, comprehensive techiniques from the
following approaches:Discuss the diagnosis and treatment of myofascial
dysfunction.
• Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy including Spray & Stretch Technique
• Muscle Energy Technique
• Neurofascial Mobilization
• Cervical or Lumbar Mobilization - Manipulation
• Cervical or Lumbar Stabilization
• Proprioceptive Training
Differential diagnosis, evaluation and treatment methods will be taught in
extensive lab sessions.
Participants will further enhance their skills in differential diagnosis, and
evaluation and treatment methods of lumbar spine pathology.
Participants will learn advanced diagnostic and treatment techniques along with
extensive lab sessions. The instructors use very effective didactic approaches,
utilizing advanced multimedia methods, which include for the first time ever
Video-Feedback Technology. Lab sessions and participant hand placements are
video taped and corrections are made during the teaching session.
Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
• Know appropriate methods of diagnosis for Lumbar Spine pathology.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding and appropriate handling of all Manual Therapy
approaches discussed.
• Create appropriate Manual Therapy Treatment Protocols that may include:
• Trigger Point Therapy, Deep and Superficial MyoFascial Therapy, Muscle Energy
Technique, NeuroFascial Mobilization, Lumbar Mobilization-Manipulation, Lumbar
Stabilization, Muscle Strengthening Systems, and Proprioceptive Training.
• Demonstrate how to effectively treat acute and chronic Lumbar Spine pathology.
• Perform Advanced Treatment techniques for unresolved Lumbar Spine pathology.
• Demonstrate the techniques immediately after the workshop. This is a promise!
